本週三，何秀蘭議員提出動議辯論: 促請政府就性傾向歧視法進行公眾諮詢。是的，只是公眾諮詢。這個如此卑微的訴求，卻遭到明光社激烈反對。現在已有五千人聯署明光社聲明，他們目標是一萬。

Frankly, I am disappointed in the response rate of this post, I guess only a small amount of ppl have signed this petition, it seems that no one care what's happening in Hong Kong.  I am not sure if this is the case in this forum, or in our same-sex community.  

People are indifferent to politics even if it is relevant to your own self.  As the minority, if you don't stand up and fight for your own rights, no one could help you.  Hope to see you all in Pride Parade on 10/11.

我睇到有報章話有大約5000個簽名(幾個鐘前睇既, 而家搵唔返條link), 唔知以幾日黎講算多定少. 不過淨係睇響呢度有關 equality & politics 既 post, 例如我之前 post過既同志友善政綱, 的確個回應率係低. 今次呢個post, 希望係大家睇左, 只係冇覆啦. 同時建議壇主考慮, 社會上以後有類似行動, 可以將有關既post置頂/高亮.

見親呢類post嘅回覆率咁低，有時覺得d人對自己設身嘅權利都唔捍衛，冇人會幫到你…今年pride parade人多咗，而且仲有hocc come out咗，希望嚟緊越嚟越多人企出嚟為自己發聲同埋多關心任何類形嘅時事…

I do agree of what u think. It takes time.
勇氣，需要累積，急不來。
我相信會愈來愈多人come out!

People in hong kong are too busy thinking about finishing with school, then their next car and a bigger house. I have many friends who are super gay, and would be what you'd call well-educated and well-off. They ought to have time and the awareness to care about politics. But people don't, because they are always busy with their next agenda - money. People don't care about rights and have zero political awareness even if it slaps them in the face.

It is quite depressing.
