so...end up how did you cook it?
I used to stir fried cauliflower with japanese mushroom...just fried them like regular veggie in Chinese style..what ever works for you...
I tried mashed cauliflower once too~ just like mashed potato! Boiled them until they r super soft, drain the water and mash the cauliflower.
