To start a long distance relationship with a virtual netfd is not easy, in particular there is cultural difference in yours. But since the two of you have fall in love already, why not just meet up first through a trip and see how it goes before making some permanent decisions ;)

有限的接觸真係未必足夠建立一段關係, 這和種族關係又未必咁大, 反而我睇成你們二人是否可以維持一段long d. 我建議你盡量爭取更多接觸機會, 打電話呀, 約個長假期見見面呀, 或者約在你們中間的城市見面, 咁機票可以無咁貴. 同意樓上所言, 見左面先再想啦.

hey mate, don't lose your confidence simply because of "impractical" because even the most practical love does not guarantee anything. In order to see future among the two of you, you first have to be confident about this relationship.

And one more suggestion is worry won't help. Enjoy and you will eventually find your way.

I think you should definitely travel to each other's country and have a feel about life and how you get along with one another first. cultural difference could cause a lot of issues, but don't jump to conclusion before you two actually meet.

Caucasians are usually more open minded and independent, most of them move away from home after high school. i personally think Caucasians could be very sweet as they tend to express their feelings more directly and openly.
